He married Janet Ethel Hazen, daughter of Willis Wesley Hazen and Margarite Isabel Conner, circa 1931. George Harry 'Bill' Steckman died on 29 August 1943 at Ellwood City Hospital, Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 43; following a heart attack. I have copy of obituary. Hazen, daughter of James Elmer Hazen and Flora Esther Alles, on 26 July 1930 at Ellwood City, Pennsylvania; I have copy of marriage announcement. Merel S. Bowen died on 18 December 2002 at age 96; was found in the Social Security death index last living in Seminole, Pinellas County, Florida.
