     Ray Othel Lindsey was born on 23 May 1917 at Pennsylvania. He married Ellen Jean Nye, daughter of Richard Henry Nye and Mary Willa Williams, on 22 April 1943 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. Ray Othel Lindsey died on 20 September 1988 at New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 71. James Novak died on 23 August 1994 at age 69; was found in the Social Security death index last living in Fombell, Beaver County, Pennsylvania.      Lillian Muriel Nye was born on 3 May 1913 at Fraziers Bottoms, Putnam County, West Virginia. She married Kenneth C. Harper, son of Thomas Randolph Harper and Lottie Mae (?), in 1969. Lillian Muriel Nye died on 28 January 1981 at Windsor Locks, Hartford County, Connecticut, at age 67.
     Lillian Muriel Nye was also known as Lillian Muriel Williams. She appeared on the census of 2 March 1920 at S.D.4; E.D.86; Sheet 8 B, Hannan Precinct 4, Mason County, West Virginia; is age 6, enumerated as Muriel Williams, and she is with her maternal grandparents, James and Elizabeth Williams.

     Bertha Greer (?) was born on 31 December 1877 at Illinois. She married Perl Ditmer Decker, son of James Decker and Sarah Ann Nye, in November 1903. Bertha Greer (?) died on 19 November 1955 at age 77. She was buried on 21 November 1955 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; was cremated, but her services were held on this date.

     Lucinda Reichlager was born at Copenhagen, Denmark. She married George M. Nye, son of Jacob Nye and Sarah H. McColough, before 1878. Lucinda Reichlager died before 1900.

     Ada Mae Nye was born on 29 July 1879 at Iowa. She married Harvey James Reefer, son of Nickolas Reefer and Hannah Caroline Smeltzer, in 1900. Ada Mae Nye died in June 1975 at age 95; was found in the social security death index last living in Apollo, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

     Josephine Nye was born in February 1883 at Cass County, Iowa. She married Clarke Freas Hess Sr. circa 1907. Josephine Nye died on 19 February 1919 at a hospital, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; of influenza. I have copy of obituary.      Charlotte Holmes was born in 1888 at Iowa. She married Harold P. Nye, son of George M. Nye and Lucinda Reichlager, circa 1916.

     Clarke Freas Hess Sr. was born on 24 November 1879 at Perkasie, Bucks County, Pennsylvania; may have been born in 1878, as is found on his graver marker. Family records however have 1879 as his birth year. He married Josephine Nye, daughter of George M. Nye and Lucinda Reichlager, circa 1907. Clarke Freas Hess Sr. married Irene Ellen Sharer in 1925. Clarke Freas Hess Sr. died on 10 April 1931 at age 51; of complications from mastoiditis (probable encephalitis). He was buried after 10 April 1931 at Riverside Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.
     Clarke Freas Hess Sr. was a pharmacist and insurance salesman. He appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at S.D.2; E.D.29-78; Sheet 1 B, West Chester Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania; is age 31, married to Josephine and he is working as a druggist at a Pharmacy. They have had 3 children, only 1 is living. He appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 at S.D.3; E.D.135; Sheet 1 B, Norristown - Ward 2, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; is age 41, widowed and he is working as a druggist. His four children are with them. He appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 at E.D.46-84; S.D.22; Sheet 10 B, Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; is age 51, has been married 5 years to Irene E. and he is working as a salesman for an insurance company. His four children are with them.

     Harvey James Reefer was born on 14 October 1875 at Gastoun, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He married Ada Mae Nye, daughter of George M. Nye and Lucinda Reichlager, in 1900. Harvey James Reefer died on 5 November 1961 at Girty, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, at age 86.

     Harold P. Nye appeared on the census of 6 June 1900 at S.D.9; E.D.44; Sheet 7 B, Grant Township, Cass County, Iowa; is age 12 and has been adopted by Herman A. & Elmira Ziegler. Herman is a lawyer. He appeared on the census of 15 January 1920 at S.D.9; E.D.42; Sheet 18 B, Grant Township - Anita, Cass County, Iowa; is age 32, married to Charlotte and no occupation is listed for either of them. They live next to Charlotte's parents. He appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 at E.D.15-14; S.D.8; Sheet 9 B, Anita Town, Cass County, Iowa; is age 42, married to Charlotte and he is an attorney-at-law. They have one adopted daughter, Carol, age 4.

     E. W. Holmes was born in 1856 at Iowa. He married Nellie (?) before 1887. E. W. Holmes died before 1930.

     Nellie (?) was born in 1864 at Iowa. She married E. W. Holmes before 1887.

     Clark Freas Hess Jr. was born on 27 January 1912 at Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He married Jane Laverne Donahue. Clark Freas Hess Jr. died on 25 July 1985 at London, England, at age 73; of mycardial infarction.
     Clark Freas Hess Jr. was employed at Marshall University and taught the school counseling program in the Department of Education until he was 62 years of age. He was educated at Indiana State University, Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania; He received his teaching credentials. He then went on to other schools to receive his Masters Degree, then he attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where he received his Doctorate.      Frank Morris was born on 21 September 1916. He married Josephine Nye Hess, daughter of Clarke Freas Hess Sr. and Josephine Nye. Frank Morris died on 6 July 1996 at age 79; of complications from bladder cancer.

     Kenneth Edward Nye was born on 7 November 1942. He died on 12 April 1956 at Ellwood City Hospital, Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, at age 13.      Joseph Ross Nye was born on 23 April 1940 at Ellwood City Hospital, Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He married Sharon Lee on 22 April 1958 at California. Joseph Ross Nye died in March 1968 at Veteran's Hospital, Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California, at age 27. He was buried in March 1968 at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Los Angeles County, California.
