     Mary Elizabeth Nye was born on 25 December 1875 at Portersville, Butler County, Pennsylvania. She married William Arthur Coombs, son of Arthur Coombs and Emma L. Conn, on 18 September 1899.

     John Alexander Nye was born on 8 May 1877 at Portersville, Butler County, Pennsylvania. He married Minnie Viola Craven, daughter of Cowden William Craven and Margaret C. Lash, on 6 June 1907. John Alexander Nye died on 2 November 1953 at his home, Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, at age 76; I have copy of obituary.      Charles Warren Nye was born on 22 June 1880 at Portersville, Butler County, Pennsylvania. He died on 24 March 1905 at age 24. He was buried after 24 March 1905 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.

     Grace Hazel Nye was born on 10 March 1882 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She died on 4 June 1940 at the home of her son, George, North Sewickley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, at age 58; I have copy of obituary. She was buried on 7 June 1940 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.
     Grace Hazel Nye appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 at S.D. 19; E.D. 94; Sheet 4 B, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; is living with her parents and there is no mention of a child belonging to her.

     Florence Marshall was born on 20 April 1860. She married Alva Ludlow Nye, son of Daniel 'Dan' Nye and Mary Ann Owery, on 6 February 1883. Florence Marshall died on 29 August 1914 at age 54; death notice was published September 3, 1914 in the Ellwood City Newspaper. She was buried after 29 August 1914 at Locust Grove Cemetery, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.

     John Hamilton Nye was born on 28 November 1883 at Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. He married Ellen Nixon, daughter of Nicholas L. Nixon and Amanda (?), on 18 December 1919 at Little River, Horry County, South Carolina. John Hamilton Nye died on 10 July 1931 at Conway, Horry County, South Carolina, at age 47; was published in the Ellwood City newspaper Monday, 13 July 1931, page 1. He was buried after 10 July 1931 at South Carolina.
     John Hamilton Nye appeared on the census of 27 January 1920 at S.D.6; E.D.95; Sheet 11 A, Little River township, Horry County, South Carolina; is age 37, married to Ellen, and he is working as a commercial salesman. They are with Ellen's parents.

     Nellie Blythe Nye was born on 11 September 1887 at Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. She married Frank S. Klinedinst, son of Delmer Klinedinst and Ellen St. Clair, on 14 September 1915.

     Martha Smiley Sumner was born on 22 December 1860. She married James Martin Nye, son of Daniel 'Dan' Nye and Mary Ann Owery, on 24 June 1883. Martha Smiley Sumner died before 1909.

     Martin E. Nye was born on 19 June 1892 at Pennsylvania. He married Bertha E. (?) circa 1919.
     Martin E. Nye appeared on the census of 13 January 1920 at S.D.2; E.D.33; Sheet 12 A, Bend City - Precinct 3, Deschutes County, Oregon; is age 27, married to Bertha, and he is working as an apprentice. They live next to Martin's father.

     Carrie R. Gerwig was born on 20 November 1864. She married Thomas Nye III, son of Daniel 'Dan' Nye and Mary Ann Owery, on 27 September 1885.

     James Frederick 'Fred' Nye was born on 10 July 1886. He married Anna Agnes Wilson on 5 February 1909.

     Mary M. Nye was born on 27 November 1887 at Burgettstown, Washington County, Pennsylvania. She married Clyde W. Palmer on 20 April 1910.

     Florence Nye was born on 25 August 1891. She died on 9 December 1907 at Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at age 16; I have copy of obituary. See obituary. She was buried on 11 December 1907 at place unknown.

     Bessie M. Nye was born on 14 September 1889. She married John Kennedy on 27 April 1909.

     Myrtle L. Nye was born on 19 December 1905 at Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. She married James P. Carnes on 24 November 1926. Myrtle L. Nye died on 8 January 1996 at Sharon, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, at age 90.

     Elleanor Jane Smiley was born in 1870. She married George Brenton Nye, son of Nathaniel Pettit Nye and Rebecca J. Marshall, on 16 March 1892. Elleanor Jane Smiley died on 19 August 1904. She was buried after 19 August 1904 at Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

     William Smiley was born on 1 July 1836 at Pennsylvania. He married Nancy Elizabeth Morton before 1869. William Smiley died on 9 June 1924 at his home, Pennsylvania, at age 87.      Lois Caroline Nye was born in September 1900; is found in the "Descendents of Andrew Nye" with birth year 1897, but since she is not with the family in the 1900 census and they have had only four children, all living, Lois would have been born after June of 1900. She died on 6 July 1901.

     Frank Erwin Nye was born on 6 July 1902. He died in 1906.

     Abigail Margaretta 'Abbie' Hennon was born circa 1873. She married Charles Marshall Nye, son of Nathaniel Pettit Nye and Rebecca J. Marshall, before 1892. Abigail Margaretta 'Abbie' Hennon died in 1907. She was buried in 1907 at Slippery Rock Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
