- The spelling of Jamina and her parentage have been very difficult to document. I cannot say, without a doubt, what I have about her is correct. I do have what is found in her obituary, and her mother's obituary. In 1880, I find her mother, Emma, married to Moore McKissick. Minna McKissick, age 6, is with them. I believe this is Jamina. I believe Jamina's father, William Bay, is the son of Thomas & Jamina Bay. I have chosen to use the spelling of her name as is found in her obituary.
