- In the censuses I find Sarah, both as Sally and as Sarah. In the Cemetery books of Pike County, Illinois, there is a Sally P. Liddle buried in Pettis Cemetery along with the other Liddle family. I have taken the death date for Sarah from this record, even though the birth date for her does not fit our Sarah. In the 1870 census, Sarah is 40 years of age. This would indicate her birth year to be 1830. In the 1880 census, she is 47, and widowed. Her birthdate in the 1900 census is 1828. She has had 6 children, all are living. All three of her sons are single and living with her, as is her daughter Viola. I am researching further.
