Since I find him in a census dated later, perhaps either the census date is incorrect or the date is incorrect in the book. He was buried after 6 January 1920 at Petty Highland Cemetery, Martinsburg Township, Pike County, Illinois.
George W. Troutner appeared on the census of 3 June 1880 at S.D 6; E.D 187; Page 8, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 26, living with Julia and daughter Luetta. His father George age 64 is living with them. He appeared on the census of 9 January 1920 at S.D.12; E.D.160; Sheet 3 A, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 73, widowed, and doing farm labor. This census is dated after the death date I have for George.

William Henry Johnston was born in 1826 at Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Troutner, daughter of John Troutner Sr. and Elizabeth Heth, on 12 October 1854 at Pike County, Illinois; was found in book 1, page 206.
William Henry Johnston appeared on the census of 6 August 1860 at Dwelling 74; Page 24, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 33, married to 'E' and he is farming. Living with them is a male H. Johnston age 10, two Morton children, and 2 younger Johnston children. They live next to Daniel and Ruth Main. I feel the census taker made errors in the surname for some of the children. In doing research, I find that Elizabeth and Mathew Morton had a son, Henry Morton, born the same time as the H. Johnston listed in this census. Since William and Elizabeth didn't marry until 1854, I feel the first female listed as a Morton, also to be Elizabeth and Mathew's child. However, the next female listed as a Morton, I feel is an error. I find her in the 1870 census with the surname Johnston.
