Welcome to our Searight Family History page!   Please click on the links above to search. Our line of Searight family, is not an easy line to track.  Thanks to our Searight cousins, who have found the site, and have conributed their history, articles, pictures, etc., this particular part of our Web site is growing.  Hopefully, more of our Searight family will find us and help to make our history complete.

Keep in mind while you are reading, if it says in the history, that I have a copy of the obituary or a picture of the grave marker, chances are, it is on the site. Click on the "Searight Burials" link or the "Cemeteries Index" link at the top or bottom of the page. It will take you to the page where you will find the link to the cemetery you want to find.

I am working very hard to make our web site easy to use, yet supply as much genealogy information as possible.  Please check the site often for any new things I may add.

Everything here is for you to take for your own personal use. Please do not add it to a CD or any other format to sell.  Do not take pictures and materials from this site and place them on another Web site, without permission from me or the contributor. Do not take anything from this site and put it on Ancestry.com or Find-a-Grave. I did not do all the research alone. Others have been very generous in sharing their family history with us.   My research was done with love and I share it with the same feeling.

If you have found our page useful, have suggestions or corrections, or if you want to share something , please email

I do not post my sources for the genealogy portion of the site, but am happy to share them with family members.  I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the researchers who so generously share their findings. I do not put on the Web site, information about those still living,  but I am very grateful for the information, for my files, that makes our history more complete. Enjoy your visit!!
