John Jake Troutner Jr. died on 8 January 1919 at Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois, at age 60; of Erysipolis. I have copy of death certificate. He was buried on 11 January 1919 at Pittsfield West Cemetery, Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois.
     John Jake Troutner Jr. appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at S.D.10; E.D.126; Sheet 1 A, Pittsfield Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 46, has been married 13 years to Della, and he is working as a carpenter. Three children are with them.

     Nancy Nye was born on 9 November 1781 at Wayne Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Andrew Nye and Rachel McDonald. Nancy Nye married Nicholas Main, son of Philip Main and Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough, on 9 December 1802. Nancy Nye died on 23 January 1861 at Pike County, Illinois, at age 79. She was buried after 23 January 1861 at North Sewickley Cemetery, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; I have picture of grave marker.
     Nancy Nye is the sister of Susannah Nye, Solomon's wife.

     Daniel W. Main was born on 6 February 1805 at North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Nicholas Main and Nancy Nye. Daniel W. Main married Ruth Johnston, daughter of Richard Johnston and Elizabeth (?), before 1831.
     Daniel W. Main appeared on the census of 28 September 1850 at Household 46, North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; is age 45, married to Ruth, and he is working as a blacksmith. Seven children are with them. Hannah, born 1842, is not listed with them. He appeared on the census of 26 August 1860 at Page 24, Household 175, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 55, married to Ruth, and he is working as a blacksmith.      Ruth Johnston was born on 28 February 1811 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Richard Johnston and Elizabeth (?). Ruth Johnston married Daniel W. Main, son of Nicholas Main and Nancy Nye, before 1831. Ruth Johnston died in 1881 at Pike County, Illinois.

     Joseph Hiram Main was born on 31 July 1832 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Daniel W. Main and Ruth Johnston. Joseph Hiram Main married Mary E. Page on 30 January 1853 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Joseph Hiram Main married Catherine Hendricks in 1875. Joseph Hiram Main died on 21 February 1902 at Kansas at age 69; at the home of his son Jonathan. He was buried after 21 February 1902 at Lenora East Cemetery, Lenora, Norton County, Kansas; Records indicate he has no grave marker.
     Joseph Hiram Main appeared on the census of 25 August 1860 at Page 16, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 28, married to Mary and he is working as a blacksmith. Three children are with them. He appeared on the census of 25 July 1870 at Household 174; Pages 25 & 26, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 38, married to Mary and he is working as a blacksmith. Eight children are with them. He appeared on the census of 12 June 1900 at S.D.6; E.D.89; Sheet 4 B, Lenora, Norton County, Kansas; is age 65, has been married 25 years to Catherine and he is working as a blacksmith. They live not far from Joseph's son Jonathan and family.

     George Main was born on 17 December 1838 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Daniel W. Main and Ruth Johnston. George Main married Almira 'Myra' Williams in 1866. George Main died in 1910.
     George Main is found on page 595 "1880 Pike County History" (Quote) George Main was born in Beaver, now Lawrence county, Pa., Dec. 17, 1838, and is a son of Daniel Main, dec, who brought his family to this county in 1859, settling in this tp., where he resided until his death. Our subject was married in 1866 to Miss Myra Williams, and their children are Fred, George, Owen, Myrtle and Ralph. Mr. Main is a blacksmith, wagon and plow maker, in company with Mr. Philip, in Time; they do a good business, and give general satisfaction. Mr. Main has held various offices of trust in this tp; served over 3 years in the late war in Co. K, 2d Reg. Ill. Cav., and was in 54 engagements, among which were the following: Middleburg, Lamare, Holly Springs, siege of Vicksburg, Sabine Cross Roads, Pleasant Hills, Yellow Bayon, etc. He was captured at Middleburg and held prisoner at Vicksburg for 6 weeks, when he was exchanged. (End Quote).

     Philip J. Main was born on 12 January 1845 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Daniel W. Main and Ruth Johnston. Philip J. Main married Hannah Josephine Horton, daughter of James Horton and Jane Cummings, on 14 September 1871 at Pike County, Illinois; I have a copy of the marriage license. Philip J. Main died on 11 October 1912 at Nebo, Pike County, Illinois, at age 67. He was buried after 11 October 1912 at Hunter Nebo Cemetery, Spring Creek Township, Pike County, Illinois; I have picture of military grave marker.
     Philip J. Main is found on Page 595 "1880 Pike County History" (Quote) Philip J. Main, brother of Jacob was born in Beaver Co., Pa., Jan. 12, 1845; he is a brother and partner of George Main, of Time. He came to Illinois with his parents in 1859, and in 1871 was married to Josephine Horton, by whom he has had 2 children; only one, Vinnie, is living. He served 100 days in the late war, in Co. H, 137th Reg. I. V. I., and was in the battle of Memphis, Tenn. (End Quote).

     Jacob Main was born on 14 September 1848 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Daniel W. Main and Ruth Johnston. Jacob Main married Mary Morton, daughter of Mathew Morton and Elizabeth Troutner, on 1 September 1868 at Pike County, Missouri; I have copy of marriage license.
     Jacob Main is found on Page 595 "1880 Pike County History" (Quote) Jacob Main was born in Beaver Co., Pa., Sept. 14, 1848. And is a son of Daniel Main, deceased, who first came to this county about the year 1850, and moved his family here in 1852. Our subject was married Sept. 7, 1868, to Mary Mortion, daughter of Matthew Mortion, deceased. They have had 4 children, of whom 3 are living, viz: Effie, Ottie and Almira. Mr. Main is a farmer, and resides on sec. 19. P. O., Pittsfield. (End Quote).

     Daniel W. Main Jr. was born in 1851 at Pennsylvania; grave marker has 1843. In one census we find his birth May 1847. He was the son of Daniel W. Main and Ruth Johnston. Daniel W. Main Jr. married Frances E. 'Fannie' Grable, daughter of Frederick Grable and Martha (?), on 7 March 1868 at Pike County, Illinois; I have copy of marriage license. Andrew Main performed the ceremony. Daniel W. Main Jr. married Charity Cornwell on 1 May 1880 at Pike County, Illinois; I have copy of marriage license. Daniel W. Main Jr. married Melissa Rebecca French, daughter of Ebenezer French and Kathline Howell, on 8 September 1887 at Pike County, Illinois. Daniel W.      Mary E. Page was born on 20 October 1832 at New Brighton, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She married Joseph Hiram Main, son of Daniel W. Main and Ruth Johnston, on 30 January 1853 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Mary E. Page died on 20 September 1910 at Hillview, Greene County, Illinois, at age 77; died at the home of her son. I have copy of obituary. She was buried on 21 September 1910 at Greenpond Cemetery, Montezuma Township, Pike County, Illinois; grave is marked by four rocks, one on each corner.
     Mary E. Page appeared on the census of 11 June 1880 at Household 162; Page 19 (595), Spring Creek Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 47, widowed, and she is working as a washer woman. Six children are with her. She appeared on the census of 13 June 1900 at S.D.10; E.D.120; Sheet 7 A, Montezuma Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 67, widowed and is living with daughter Cynthia and Add Drake. Mary has had 9 children, all living. On this census, Mary's father was born in Germany and her mother in Pennsylvania. His name on the license is Andrew N. Nye. Nye Andrew Main married Annie Glenn on 21 April 1909 at Bowling Green, Pike County, Missouri; I have copy of marriage license. Nye Andrew Main died on 20 January 1936 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 77; I have copy of death certificate. He was buried on 23 January 1936 at New Canton, Pike County, Illinois.

Sarah Jane Heavner married Peter Robert DeRoy circa 1878. Sarah Jane Heavner married Louis Schmidt circa 1905. Sarah Jane Heavner died on 19 July 1940 at Missouri at age 81. She was buried after 19 July 1940 at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Dardenne, Saint Charles County, Missouri.
