Emmet Theodore Main died on 4 October 1918 at Pennsylvania at age 33; death notice appeared in the Ellwood City newspaper 10 October 1918. He died of pneumonia. Five children are with her. They live next to George Raney Main. She appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 at E.D.39-50; S.D.16; Sheet 4 B & 5 A, Roseboom Town, Otsego County, New York; is age 38, and is now married to William Edwards. With them, are three of her children, and one of William's.

     Samuel Ewing was born in May 1859 at Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Sigler in 1880.

     Arthur Emmett Maine was born on 21 April 1906 at Ellwood City, Pennsylvania; His grave marker and his obituary have birth year 1909, but the Social Security death index has his birth year 1906, and this goes along with what is found in the census. He married Ruth Irene Courson, daughter of Jerry Calvin Courson and Maud Deemer, on 2 March 1935. Arthur Emmett Maine married Mrs. Marjorie Reese after 1964.      DeWayne A. Maine was born on 19 October 1910 at Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; On DeWayne's military marker his birth year is 1909, on his headstone, it is 1910. In the" Descendants of Andrew Nye", it is 1908. Since his obituary states he was age 22 at the time of his death, I have chosen to use the year 1910 as his year of birth. He died on 6 January 1933 at Walter Reed Hospital, Washington D.C., at age 22; after an illness that lasted 7 months. I have copy of obituary. His death notice appeared in the Ellwood City newspaper 7 January 1933, page 13.      George Carlysle 'Herky' Maine was born on 8 November 1909 at Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He married Alice J. Cope in 1936. George Carlysle 'Herky' Maine died in October 1977 at age 67; was found in the Social Security death index last living in South New Berlin, Chenango County, New York.

     Emmett Theodore Maine began military service on 25 April 1941 a drill and motor sergeant in the Command Medial Department of the United States Army. Before he was in the Army, from 1936 to 1939, he served as a seaman in the United States Coast Guard. He ended military service on 13 October 1945 at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

     George Raney Francis Main was born on 17 August 1893 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He married Viola Dorothy Flinner, daughter of Frederick W. Flinner and Elsie M. Rice, on 28 September 1914.
