She lives next to Andrew and Lutilla. She appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 at S.D.10; E.D.117; Sheet 5 A & B, Hardin Township, Pike County, Illinois; is age 56, widowed and is head of house where her daughter Lutilia and her son Alvin and his 2 children are residing. Mary's last name appears to be Johnston, however this area is very black and almost impossible to read. She has had 6 children, only 4 are living.
