     Solomon Main was born on 27 February 1794 at Virginia. He married Susannah Nye, daughter of Andrew Nye and Rachel McDonald, on 14 February 1814 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Solomon Main married (?) Johnson after 1851; has not been confirmed to have married a Johnson. One source states she was a widow who married Solomon. I cannot find proof of this marriage. Solomon Main married Sarah Nott on 31 May 1860 at Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois; I have copy of marriage license. Solomon Main died on 15 September 1874 at Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois, at age 80; 15 Jul 1871 is the death date shown on Solomon's headstone. 15 Sep 1874 is the death date given in Estate Petition made by son, Andrew Main. Living with him is his daughter Hannah and her daughter Della.

     Susannah Nye was born on 27 February 1795 at Beaver County, Pennsylvania. She married Solomon Main, son of Philip Main and Clarianne 'Clory Ann' Rough, on 14 February 1814 at Beaver Falls, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Susannah Nye died on 8 July 1851 at Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois, at age 56. She was buried after 8 July 1851 at Petty Highland Cemetery, Martinsburg Township - east of Time, Pike County, Illinois; has no grave marker.

     Clara Mae Main was born on 5 April 1905 at Oklahoma. She married Fred C. Hutcheson before 1923. Clara Mae Main married Martin Fath before 1957. Clara Mae Main died on 28 July 1958 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital, Harbor City, Los Angeles County, California, at age 53; I have copy of obituary and a copy of her death certificate.

Doris Elizabeth Main married (?) Meyers after 1933. Doris Elizabeth Main married (?) Herpeche before 1958. Doris Elizabeth Main died on 15 August 1959 at Lackland Air Force Base Hospital, Rural Precinct 5, Bexar County, Texas, at age 44; had a brain hemorrhage related to widespread metastasis of breast cancer.
